The Beginning...

Welcome... please feel free to participate... I haven't determined the direction for this Blog just yet, but believe it will be a continuation of what I have been doing for a couple of years now. I have been attempting to communicate with my loved ones and provide Biblical text to them on a regular basis. All of us require time in the Word to continue to nourish our Spirits that we may be sensitive to God's prompting as we "Love God and our neighbors as ourselves". Remember, in this is the whole law....

So, to begin... at the beginning....

Genesis 1..... The Beginning
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day

John 1
The Word Became Flesh
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning.
3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.

We must believe this in order to see the Kingdom of God, to enter into the Kingdom of God. Again... we must believe!! Duh!!
